The simultaneous projection of six consecutive video recordings, each lasting 10 minutes, represents the one-hour observation of an unchanging section of public space. It is the temporality of a full hour that is visually juxtaposed.
The aerial perspective and the absence of a clear spatial context render the location anonymous. The recordings capture fleeting moments of urban life, and through the repetition of the same image segment, a fictional urban landscape emerges. The work primarily addresses the temporal process of appearance and disappearance, thus creating a connection to human existence.
